Workshop Outline

Workshop Webinar Outline

This comprehensive one-day workshop is designed to provide essential foundational knowledge

and hands-on training for installers of the AluK SL50 and SG50 Curtain Wall Systems, as well as for

individuals involved in the installation process, such as supervisors, site operatives, and curtain wall

fixers. The course is suitable for both experienced installers who have not previously worked with AluK

curtain walling systems, as well as those with limited experience. While prior knowledge of the aluminium

window, door, and curtain walling industries is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for participation.

The workshop will explore both the theoretical and practical aspects of the SL50 and SG50 Curtain

Wall Systems. In our dedicated training facility, participants will engage with the AluK Technical Manual,

which will serve as a key resource throughout the course. The manual will guide attendees

through various profiles, components, tools, and installation processes necessary for the effective

installation and understanding of these advanced curtain wall systems.

By the end of the session, participants will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the SL50

and SG50 systems, along with the technical skills required to carry out installations confidently and

competently.

This is a GQA Qualifications Ltd Accredited Course and there is a short end of course assessment to

take to gain the GQA Certificate.
